ARTIST’S STATEMENT
A short-clawed Asian otter standing in running water. They are classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. This is the third study of these Vulnerable species I have drawn. I have spent many hours with my son at Auckland Zoo watching the otters frolicking and they never cease to delight.
