ARTIST STATEMENT
I live and work close to Berowra Valley National Park, where the birds visit my garden. Rewilded behind the burgundy port wine magnolia and flame tree, the parrots sup on nectar and nibble new shoots. Many days I watch from my studio, pencil in hand as they range the lawn. Daily enthralled at the crimson blaze of rosellas, the orange flash of lorikeets, and the occasional visit of magenta galahs.
